| ok the polls and votes are in and the new president has been elected. President Barack Obama is in the white house. over the next few months he will be putting together his cabinet and getting together his proposals to congress. also apparentally most of the congress and senate is democrat so it will probably easier to pass his proposals. President Obama will be anagurated on January 21, 2009 and will then move his family into the White House.
